Erin O'Neill Photography

portraits & EQUESTRIAN photography

Hi I'm Erin.

I started photography in 2010, when I travelled to horse shows to take photos of my friends, and quickly started a small business selling photos, posters and cards in high school, while also working for the high school and local newspapers. I served as editor in chief of my high school's paper, and starting their first website, and being awarded the Pennsylvania Student Journalist of the Year by the PSPA in 2013.

I then graduated from Penn State University in 2018, where I studied statistics and advertising. During this time, I was a senior photographer and editor for the award-winning, student-run newspaper, The Daily Collegian.

After graduating, I moved out to Utah and have loved capturing the authentic joy of life moments in grad photos, portraits, engagements, weddings and more.

Bonus points when they include mountains and horses :)

My photos have also been published with US Equestrian Magazine, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, PennLive, The Plaid Horse, The York Daily Record, and more.

Outside of photography I love horseback riding, trail running, skiing, reading, biking, swimming and spending time in the sun with friends and my horse, Lucky. I also currently work in digital marketing in the ad tech industry.

Feel free to reach out to chat or to book a session!
